I attended the fantastic Stonehouse Gang Youth Club where I held a variety of 2 hour sessions working on a legacy mural to be displayed in the building for all attendees and volunteers to enjoy.

The project kicked off with a brainstorming session, where I provided a variety of sheets with questions about the Youth Club for the group to answer. The young people then responded to these questions and prompts with words, doodles and icons - I got a huge sense of friendship and adventure from their answers which I tried to incorporate into my design as much as possible.
For the remainder of the sessions I began to recreate the concept while the group created an awesome frame around the mural - full of doodles and icons of the things that make them happy at the club, and it's all coming together beautifully!Â
The rest of the board will be completed by everyone at the club over the summer holidays so I can't wait to see how it turns out!
